Schiller Online provides its unique brand of international education to students anytime and anywhere in the world!
Schiller International University now offers its undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a completely flexible online format.
Founded in 1964, with over 20,000 alumni all over the world, Schiller is often referred to as the international university. Now, via the internet, this honored and renowned university is accessible from anywhere in the world. These online programs are designed for students who work full-time, manage a family, or are otherwise unable to attend classes at one of our seven campuses on a regular basis. Unlike any university, you can easily shift from online to on-campus and accelerate your degree in exciting places like London, Paris, Madrid, Heidelberg, Florida, and Switzerland. Many Schiller students travel their way through college. Not ready to travel? Start online and transfer when you're ready. Spring classes start January 26, so if you don't yet have your passport, you can still get started.
All Schiller courses are taught by highly qualified professors who combine extensive industry experience with dedicated training in the methodology of distance learning. As with the face-to-face classroom environment, traditional coursework is required; textbook requirements and grading remain the same. Each course requires considerable interaction with online instructors and classmates, and Schiller online students have full access to the same support services that are offered to our resident students. Since classes run 24/7, Schiller Online offers the ultimate flexible schedule — students can work at their present jobs and maintain family responsibilities while earning their degrees. They can tailor their course loads to fit into their schedules, starting with just one course for their first semester or diving right in with three or four.
To ensure that applicants feel comfortable with email composition, file attachments, downloading and uploading files, and the use of discussion forums and chat rooms, the admissions requirements include the completion of two surveys:
These surveys must be downloaded as Word documents and returned to onlineprograms@schiller.edu as e-mail attachments. Other admissions and graduation requirements for all online students are the same as those for campus-based students.
