More and more students and faculty are looking for two- to three-week affordable overseas experiences. For many, faculty-led study programs are an attractive alternative to traditional summer or semester study abroad programs.
Schiller International University works in cooperation with CEPA (Customized Educational Programs Abroad) and over 40 host universities in North America to provide full program planning and support for customized, short-term faculty-led programs at its European campuses.
Short-term programs offer numerous advantages:
It's your program:
Flexible and affordable programs are custom-designed to accommodate the needs of your institution, faculty, and students.
It's your faculty:
All programs are developed under the guidance of faculty members, which helps to greatly minimize the time and effort required when compared to setting up a study abroad program independently.
It's your credit:
In most cases, students can transfer their credits earned abroad because the programs follow your academic guidelines set by your faculty members.

Employed adults have the opportunity to study part-time during evening/weekend hours on all seven campuses. (Participation may be dependent on a student's visa status.) Programs lead either to a Bachelor of Business Administration degree or to a Master of Business Administration degree.
Master of Business Administration (Part-time)
The part-time MBA program is offered on all seven campuses and is particularly suited for people in business who wish to gain further qualifications. The seminars and lectures, given by highly qualified and experienced teachers, emphasize the practical aspects of international business administration, marketing, management, international finance, investment, risk analysis, and banking. Students may combine residential and online courses to fulfill degree requirements.
Executive (MBA) Master of Business Administration (Part-time)
The 45-semester-credit program resulting in an MBA degree with a concentration in International Business may be completed during two semesters and one summer session on a full-time basis. If students have a Bachelor's in business studies, they may complete the program within a minimum two-year time frame on a part-time basis. Students can transfer from one campus to the other and complete their degree requirements in Florida, London, Paris, Strasbourg, Madrid, or Heidelberg. For those with a non-business background, the Schiller MIM degree or individual MBA preparatory courses offer unique opportunities. Pursuit of a graduate degree in business is an excellent opportunity for individuals whose primary background is a concentration in law, engineering, computer science, architecture, social/natural sciences, or other non-business related fields. The MIM degree complements their academic background, improving their chances of promotion and enhancing their employment options.
In particular, students who are lacking a background in business administration can face a barrier to many competitive career opportunities. Schiller's programs can bridge the gap between knowledge of law, engineering, and other non-business backgrounds and their application to business situations.
At Schiller, there are two paths toward graduate business studies that are open to individuals whose undergraduate work was in a non-business-related area:
(1) A Master of International Management (MIM) degree
Or
(2) Specified individual prerequisite courses
Successful completion of either of these programs guarantees students admission to the Schiller MBA program. All Schiller campuses offering the MBA degree also offer individual prerequisite courses required for introduction into the MBA program.
Students with a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent may begin their MBA studies in courses for which they have completed the necessary prerequisites, while concurrently completing the remaining required prerequisites. Candidates who have completed Bachelor's degrees or the equivalent in fields other than business and have not completed the required core courses (see the MBA Admissions Requirements) are advised to consult with an Schiller campus admissions office.
Offered at the following campuses: Florida, London, Heidelberg, Online
