Please contact any other university about their policy on accepting credits.

14. What documents and finances do I need to begin the application process?

All international applicants should plan to send a completed application form, a $65 application fee, official transcripts from all previous educational institutions attended, a $600 tuition deposit, an affidavit of support form, and a notarized bank statement showing the equivalency of USD $28,000 to begin the admission process. If the bank statement is in a currency other than U.S. dollars, the total U.S. dollar equivalency must be written on the bank statement. The documents must be faxed or preferably mailed along with payment to the closest admissions office.

American students should send the completed application form along with the $65 application fee and official transcripts in a sealed envelope. A $600 tuition deposit is required within three weeks of acceptance.

It only takes a few days to be notified on the decision after your completed admissions application, fee, and official transcripts have been received.

We base admissions on above-average academic performance.

20. Do I have to have health insurance to attend Schiller?

Students must have medical insurance coverage in order to register at Schiller campuses. Undergraduate students may transfer up to 91 credits. Graduate students may transfer up to 18 credits (or 12 credits for a 36-credit degree program).

22. Can you tell me more about the Schiller Online learning program?

Schiller's Distance Learning program provides students, particularly working individuals, the flexibility of time and place to earn their degree. Class discussions are asynchronous, so students do not need to worry about being at their computers at a specific date and time. The coursework for each semester is divided into weekly modules, and students have a week to complete their assignments. You will be required to participate in reading assignments, threaded discussions, webliography, and document sharing. You can access the online courses from anywhere in the world through the Internet. Your degree will not indicate that your courses were taken online. Your transcripts will state that the courses were taken at the Florida campus. Your degree will state that you graduated from the campus you were registered at when you graduated.
